The town is not very big, it has 6600 inhabitants, several shops, bars, 2 schools, kindergarten, library hall, post office, hospital, regular bus service to Varna. Kamchia river lies 17 km south of Varna and the international airport. Kamchia is a unique nature reserve away from the bustling city life and in the same time not far from the beach and the modern amenities. The largest city nearby is Varna – the Black Sea capital of Bulgaria. There are many small villages along the river, providing numerous fishing and hunting facilities.
