The village is not big, it has 280 inhabitants, shop, bus service. Byala is a small picturesque town situated directly on the Black Sea Coast. It lies near the border between Varna and Burgas regions, 50 km south from Varna international airport. Byala (population 3,000) has its own ethnographic park and is the host city of the annual festival "Week of the Sea". The beach of Byala is the cleanest and widest on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. One of the wildest districts in Bulgaria “The white river” and the virgin beach “Iraqli” are situated nearby. The combination of mountain and sea climate makes the town a great place for recreation.
