The village is small, it has 200 inhabitants, shop, bar, local post office, regular bus service. Balchik is an attractive coastal town in Bulgaria, situated on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, near the Albena resort. The main attraction of Balchik is an architectural park complex "Balchik Palace", built in 1924 as a summer residence of Queen Maria. The Historical Museum of Balchik reveals artifacts dating back several centuries and numerous archaeological excavations. Balchik has a population over 12,000 inhabitants, many hotels, restaurants and shops, Ethnographic and Revival Complex, Art Gallery. The famous modern golf courses Black Sea Rama, Thracian Cliffs and Lighthouse golf resort are 8-11 km away.
