The village is a small fishing spot with 70 inhabitants and a shop. It lies near the edge of a cliff about 9 km from Shabla town (population 3700) with all modern amenities. Kavarna is a small coastal town in northeastern Bulgaria, situated in the middle of the northern Black Sea Coast, south of the famous Kaliakria cape. The town has a population over 15,000 inhabitants, a modern Marina with fishing facilities and unspoiled beach with several mineral water springs. The Annual rock and metal festival “Kavarna Rock Fest” is being held since 2006. The famous modern golf courses Black Sea Rama, Thracian Cliffs and Lighthouse golf resort are 5-7 km away.
